Confidential computation for zero-knowledge teams
Leverage decentralized secure environments to improve complex and resource-intensive operations.
Streamline the creation of any setup ceremony leveraging MPC and on-chain private computation to generate a secure environment. Made possible with the use of Polkadot’s parachain “Phala Network”, which provides decentralized and private off-chain computation resources.

Building zk proofs can be a highly resource-intensive operation, not appropriate for end-users with simple smartphones. With Bazk Proofs zero-knowledge teams can offset computation to a server, creating a simple fluid UX withouth sacrificing any privacy guarantees.

About
Privacy systems have numerous points of failure, and the commitment to the system integrity is crucial to create a truly private and decentralized application. Bazk was born out of the challenges faced by Hack-a-Chain’s team when developing Opact, a decentralized private transactions protocol powered by AML features, which is live on Near Protocol and Kadena. Set up ceremonies and proofs generation are complex and resourceful operations that were road-blocks during the project development. While researching for solutions, our team stumbled into Phala Network, which provides decentralized and confidential computation, and that fueled our will to create an application to perform private and secure computation on a decentralized manner. Bazk Ceremonies and Bazk Proofs are the first iteration on top of this technology, but we know there’s a lot more to be achieved. We hope other zero-knowledge teams can make use of these tools to improve their development flow, like we did. Bazk was developed by Hack-a-Chain, a web 3 laboratory specialized in zero-knowledge and other advanced cryptographic techniques. Feel free to reach us with questions, notes or feedbacks!
